Edmonson, Superintendent News Release – January 7, 2009 Lake Charles Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges On January 7, 2009, the Louisiana State Police Detective Section concluded an investigation concerning an individual sharing and accumulating child pornographic media files via the internet. Investigators identified the address of 4125 Pleasant Drive, Lake Charles, LA as the service address for the internet. Investigators from the Louisiana State Police and the Immigration Customs and Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant on the address of 4125 Pleasant Drive in Lake Charles, LA. Evidence of Child Pornography was located on a computer inside the residence. Investigators also found evidence of drug paraphernalia in the residence. Albert F. O’Malley, 19, of Lake Charles, La. was arrested by the Louisiana State Police without incident and booked into the Calcasieu Parish Prison on the following charges: Possession of Child Pornography Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Albert F. O’Malley is currently a student at Barbe High School in Lake Charles, La. Investigators contacted the administration at Barbe High School and advised them of the arrest. Sgt.
