Investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations/Lake Charles Field Office and agents from the Homeland Security Investigations arrested Carl Edwin Olson II (W/M 49 yrs) yesterday for Pornography Involving Juveniles.

This arrest stems from an investigation where it was discovered that child pornography images were being downloaded and shared. Yesterday, investigators executed a search warrant and discovered sexually explicit images of children on various media and computers at Olson’s residence. Olson II admitted to downloading and storing these images during an interview.

The Louisiana State Police is committed to investigating and arresting those who sexually exploit and victimize children. Operation “Child Watch” will continue to be a priority in order to protect our children.

Olson II was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with Pornography Involving Juveniles.
