On April 20, 2017, shortly before 1:00 p.m., Louisiana State Police Troop D responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 171 just north of Joe Miller Road in the community of Moss Bluff in Calcasieu Parish. The Altima then rolled onto its side and skidded into a ditch before rolling again.
