Westley Dossey later died from his injuries he received in the crash, and Ailene Dossey received moderate injuries. Wesley and Ailene Dossey were wearing the proper DOT approved helmets. Alcohol and/or drug usage is not suspected, but blood was drawn as per state law and toxicology results are pending from the Assumption Parish Coroner’s Office.
