Coushatta Man Arrested for Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor

Houma: On Monday, March 14, 2011, Billy P. Bledsoe (W/M, 33 of Coushatta, LA) was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Terrebonne Parish. Bledsoe is accused of committing crimes of indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer aided solicitation with a minor.

The Louisiana State Police Region II Criminal Investigative Division’s Shreveport Office and the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office executed the arrest warrant on Bledsoe at his residence in Coushatta, LA. Bledsoe was arrested and booked at the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office and later transported to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. No bond has been set on Bledsoe.

The arrest warrant stems from the program Operation Child Watch. The Louisiana State Police Region I Criminal Investigative Division’s Houma office conducted an undercover operation and during the operation, Bledsoe engaged in sexually explicit conversations with an undercover trooper posing as a 14 year old female. Bledsoe exposed himself via a webcam, and sent nude and inappropriate images to the posing 14 year old female.
