TROOP C- NEWS RELEASE September 1, 2011 Police Needs Your Help With A Critical Hit and Run Crash In Lafourche Parish Galliano – On August 27, 2011, at approximately 3:08 p.m., Troop C investigated a critical Hit and Run crash on LA 3235 at the Wal-Mart in Galliano, LA. The crash involved two vehicles and left three occupants with injuries ranging from minor to critical. Edward P. Farbe (I/M, 26 of Larose, LA) was operating a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on LA 3235 attempting to make a left turn at a median opening at the Wal-Mart in Galliano, LA. Farbe failed to yield and made a left turn into the path of a northbound 2007 Dodge Ram, driven by Peter Crifasi (W/M, 43 of Baton Rouge, LA). Farbe left the scene of the crash on foot and was last seen in the Wal-Mart parking lot area. A warrant for the following charges has been filed: Failure to yield while turning left, hit and run driving, and negligent injuring. Troopers continue their investigation. State Police is asking for your assistance in locating Edward P. Farbe (I/M, 26, of Larose, LA). Farbe has several aliases, a scar, and tattoos: Edward P. Forbe, Eddie P. Farbe, Paul Farbe, and Ed P. Farbe. Farbe has a scar on his left arm and tattoos on his back, abdomen, and right lower arm. Farbe may be in New Orleans east or the North Louisiana area.
