L S P Investigations Lead To Multiple Arrests
Houma: The LSP Region I Criminal Investigative Division’s Houma Office has conducted several joint investigations with local law enforcement agencies that resulted in the arrests of numerous individuals on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 who were involved in various illegal drug activities.
Valerie McKee (W/F, 38 of Napoleonville, LA) was arrested on a warrant for allegedly altering a non-controlled prescription by adding Lortab, a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance to the prescription.
Cleve Daigle (W/M, 51 of Bayou Lourse’, LA) was arrested on a warrant for distribution of Endocet, a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance.
These arrests stem from a joint investigation that was conducted with the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office. Both McKee and Daigle were booked at Assumption Parish Jail. No bonds were set.
Additionally, Benjamin Harris (W/M, 33 of Thibodaux, LA) and Sabrina Diez (W/F, 34 of Thibodaux, LA) were arrested on warrants for Operating a Clandestine Laboratory and Possession of Methamphetamine, Schedule II Control Dangerous Substance.
This arrest stems from a two month long joint investigation with the Thibodaux Police Department. Information was received that Harris and Diez were operating a methamphetamine laboratory at the address of 104 Albert Street in Thibodaux, LA. A search warrant was executed seizing a small (one-pot) methamphetamine lab and approximately one gram of methamphetamine. Both were booked at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on the above charges. Bond was set at $60,000.00 for each.
