HEADQUARTERS NEWS RELEASE April 18, 2015 Update - Assistance Sought in Locating Wanted Thibodaux Man Update – Lebeouf and his 9 year old son have been located in Metairie. Lebeouf is currently in custody and his son was found in good condition. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana State Police would like to thank the public as well as the media for their assistance in helping to locate this individual quickly and safely. Baton Rouge – The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office along with Louisiana State Police are requesting assistance from the public in locating a wanted individual who may be traveling with a 9 year old juvenile. 39 year old Shawn M. Lebeouf of Thibodaux, LA has several active criminal warrants out of Lafourche Parish. Lebeouf is believed to have made several threatening statements to members of his family and his children. Lebeouf (photo attached) is believed to be traveling with his 9 year old son in a black 2013 Dodge Ram pickup possibly bearing Louisiana license plate B890859 (photo of similar vehicle attached). Lebeouf has a “Yosemite Sam” tattoo on his left arm. Investigators have reason to believe the two may be in or near the Baton Rouge area.
