Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP C - NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release November 23, 2010 Des Allemands Resident charged in Online Investigation Houma: As part of the continued efforts of Operation Child Watch, an ongoing proactive enforcement campaign against online child exploitation, Louisiana State Police Region I Criminal Investigative Division with the assistance of Immigration and Custom Enforcement have charged Ralph Holden (W/M age 46) of Des Allemands with Pornography involving Juveniles. The arrest originated from a proactive child exploitation investigation conducted by Louisiana State Police Region I Criminal Investigative Division, Houma office. On November 22, 2010, Louisiana State Police Detectives issued an arrest warrant for Holden and located him at the St. Tammany Parish Jail in Covington where he was incarcerated for an unrelated charge of probation violation for Carnal Knowledge. Holden was booked as a fugitive and will be later extradited to Lafourche Parish to face the pornography charge. The Louisiana State Police is committed to investigating and arresting those who sexually exploit and victimize children. Through Operation Child Watch, Troopers will continue to work in cooperation with other agencies throughout the state and nation to actively pursue child predators and ensure the safety of our children. | |||
