Edmonson, Superintendent News Release November 27, 2010 Fatal Pedestrian Crash Claims The Life of A Houma Woman Houma- On November 27, 2010, at approximately 5:44 a.m., Troop C investigated a fatal crash on LA 315 half a mile north of Crozier Dr. in Houma, LA. The crash claimed the life of a 38-year-old Houma woman. Charley Bolden (B/M, 61 of Houma, LA) was operating a 1998 GMC Sierra northbound on LA 315 in Houma, LA. A pedestrian, Angelina M. Allen (B/F, 38 of Houma, LA.) walked into the northbound lane in the path of Bolden’s vehicle. Bolden was unable to avoid crash. Allen was wearing dark clothing and there were no street lighting in the area of the crash. Bolden and his passenger, Charley Bolden Jr. (B/M, 30 of Houma, LA.) received no injuries and were wearing seat belts. Allen received fatal injuries and pronounced dead at the scene by the Terrebonne Parish Coroner’s Office. A breath test administered on Bolden indicated no alcohol involvement. Alcohol and/or drug involvement on Allen is pending toxicology results from the Terrebonne Parish Coroner’s Office. No charges filed and Troopers are continuing their investigation.
