Date: December 21, 2010Bayou Blue Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography
Houma: On Tuesday, December 14, 2010, LSP Region I Criminal Investigative Division, Houma office, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Houma office, and the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the address of 455 Bayou Blue Rd. Houma, LA. Dennis F. Deloach (W/M, 40 of Houma, LA.) was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.
The search warrant and arrest stems from the program Operation Child Watch. The investigation confirmed the possession and trading of child pornography and revealed hundreds of child pornography images and children being sexually abused on Deloach’s computer. Children depicted were as young three years old.
Deloach was booked at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. A bond of $1,000,000.00 was set.
The Operation Child Watch was started under the leadership of Col. Mike Edmonson in October 2008. The mission of Operation Child Watch is to rescue children from the hands of abusers, to pro actively investigate cases involving the sexual abuse of children, and educate parents on the dangers of the internet.
