Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP C- NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release Date: January 4, 2011 Three Arrested For Filing False Public Documents With OMV Morgan City: In November of 2010, LSP Region I Criminal Investigative Division, Houma office, began an investigation into the filing of false documents at the Motor Vehicle office in Morgan City, LA. The investigation revealed that John Bogen Jr. (B/M, 39 of Thibodaux, LA), Shemera Bogen (B/F, 33 of Morgan City, LA), and Alfred Bogen (B/M, 36 of Morgan City, LA) had filed a falsified affidavit of heirship for a vehicle owned by their deceased father, John Bogen Sr. Warrants were obtained for filing false public records. On January 3, 2011, LSP region I Criminal Investigative Division, Houma office, arrested and booked the Bogen’s at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. All bonds were set at $2,500.00.
