Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP C- NEWS RELEASE Entergy Requests Temporary Closure of U.S. 90 THIBODAUX- Entergy Corporation representatives have requested State Police temporarily close U.S. Highway 90 on September 9, 2008 so they can repair a major power line that crosses the highway. U.S. Highway 90 near Thibodaux will be closed in both directions ¼ mile west of LA Highway 1 so that Entergy workers can complete their repairs. The closure of U.S. Hwy 90 will take place at 9:00 a.m. and will remain closed for approximately one hour. Motorists are encouraged to use LA Hwy 182 as an alternate route.
