| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE TROOP C- NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release Date: May 7, 2008 DWI Checkpoint Announcement On Thursday, May 8, 2008 the Louisiana State Police in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies will be conducting a DWI checkpoint within the Troop C area. The checkpoint will be held between the hours of 9:00 pm Thursday night until 3:00 am early Friday morning. Due to the large number of law enforcement officers expected to be present at the checkpoint, a saturation patrol will be sent out for DWI enforcement of the surrounding streets and roads around the checkpoint. This will be an enforcement effort to catch that drunk driver avoiding the checkpoint.
