Office of Motor Vehicle Employee Arrested for Malfeasance
Houma: On Monday, August 30, 2010, LSP Region I Criminal Investigative Division arrested Sybil St. Julian (B/F, 52 of Houma, LA.). St. Julian is accused of committing crimes of Malfeasance in Office, Abuse of Office, and Injuring Public Records.
LSP Region I Criminal Investigative Division, Houma office executed an arrest warrant for Sybil St. Julian at the Office of Motor Vehicles in Houma, LA. The arrest stems from an investigation that began on July 26, 2010. LSP Region I Criminal Investigative Division, received information that an employee with Office of Motor Vehicle was fraudulently issuing and/or altering Louisiana Driver’s License after receiving a personal payment. The investigation revealed that after receiving a large sum of money from an undercover LSP Trooper, St. Julian issued an official Louisiana Driver’s License with the fictitious information provided.
St. Julian was arrested and booked on the above listed charges at the Terrebonne Parish Correctional Facility. No bond was set.
