Mississippi Man Arrested For Rape
Lafourche: On Friday, July 23, 2010, LSP Region II and I Criminal Investigative Division with the assistance of the Immigration Customs Enforcement, executed arrest warrants on Celestino Garcia (H/M, 56 of Brookhaven, MS.). Garcia was charged with Aggravated Rape, Molestation of a Juvenile, and Oral Sexual Battery.
The arrest warrants stem from information that was received by LSP Region II Criminal Investigative Division. Information alleged that Garcia had inappropriate sexual contact with four juvenile females between the ages of 7 and 12. Based on the investigation and evidence gathered, investigators obtained warrants for Garcia and charged him with the above mentioned charges. Garcia confessed to the inappropriate contact with two female juveniles; one of which was unknown to law enforcement.
Garcia was arrested and booked at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center. Bond was set at $175,000.00.
Garcia lived in Golden Meadow, LA. prior to moving to Brookhaven, MS. The Louisiana State Police is asking anyone with any information regarding Garcia to please contact LSP Region I Criminal Investigative Division at 985.876.8842.
