Gibson’s Man Arrest Leads To A Thibodaux Woman’s Narcotics Arrest
Houma: On Monday, July 19, 2010, LSP Region I Criminal Investigative Division with the assistance of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force, Morgan City Police Department, Thibodaux Police Department, and Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office executed an outstanding warrant out of St. Mary Parish on James Guerin Jr. (W/M, 32 of Gibson, LA.), and seized twenty grams of methamphetamine, six grams of marijuana, ten units of hydrocodone, a Ruger 9mm, and $1,457.00 in US currency. The warrants charged Guerin with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Criminal Trespassing. Guerin was on supervised probation for narcotics violations.
The arrest stems from information investigators received that Guerin was selling large quantities of methamphetamine from his residence located in Gibson, LA. Rosa Arabie (W/F, 41 of Thibodaux, LA.) was implicated in the operation when she delivered twelve grams of methamphetamine to investigators. A search of Arabie’s residence revealed sixteen grams of methamphetamine, twenty and a half units of hydrocodone. Arabie’s two young sons were present at the residence during the arrest and was release to their father.
Guerin was arrested and booked on the following charges: Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana and Hydrocodone, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm with Narcotics, and the outstanding warrant. Booked at the Terrebonne Parish Correctional Facility.
Arabie was arrested and booked on the following charges: Distribution of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, and Possession of Narcotics in the Presence of a Juvenile. Booked at the Lafourche Detention Center.
