Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP C- NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release Date: October 20, 2009 Troop C Grant-A-Wish Arranges Meeting With Miley Cyrus for Houma Girl Houma- A five year old girl from Houma, LA with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) will get her wish today to meet Miley Cyrus. Madison Boudreaux is currently going through chemo treatments after her shoulder surgery to remove the cancer. She is doing well with the treatments with minimal complications. Troop C Grant-A-Wish contacted her and met with Madison to ask her what her wish would be if she could have anything or go anywhere. She said that she wanted to meet and sing with Miley Cyrus (Hanna Montana). Madison’s mother and father, Jaime and Jamie Boudreaux, tried very hard on their own to contact Miley Cyrus’ staff in hopes to arrange a meeting. Troop C Grant-A-Wish began calling and emailing her staff and had success. Miley Cyrus’ staff was more than willing to help out. Miley Cyrus will be in concert tonight at 7 PM at the New Orleans arena. Troop C Grant-A-Wish is proud to partner with Miley Cyrus and her staff to grant this awesome little girl’s wish.
