Fugitive Wanted in Mississippi Arrested in Lafourche Parish


Gray – On January 19, 2018, LSP Criminal Investigation Division – Houma office (CID) and the United States Marshalls Service (USMS) arrested 27 year old Trey Verrett who was wanted on sexual battery charges.

The USMS contacted Troopers with CID on January 18, 2018 about Verrett possibly living in Lafourche Parish. Verrett, a registered convicted sex offender in Terrebonne Parish, was wanted by the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office on three counts of sexual battery. Troopers located Verrett at his residence in Gray, LA and arrested him without incident. He was booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and is awaiting extradition to Mississippi.
