TROOP C NEWS RELEASE December 16, 2016 Troopers Search for Suspect Vehicle in Hit and Run Fatality **UPDATE** The suspect vehicle has been identified as a blue 2013-2017 Honda Accord four door sedan. Schriever, LA – Shortly after 7:00 am this morning, Louisiana State Police Troop C responded to a hit and run fatality crash involving a pedestrian on LA 20 near Main Project Road in Terrebonne Parish. The identity of the pedestrian is being withheld at this time, pending notification to the family. Through the course of the investigation, Troopers gathered evidence at the scene and determined a small dark colored car was involved in the crash. The vehicle should have damage to the right headlight, missing the right side mirror, and possible damage to the right side of the windshield. The crash took place at approximately 3:00 am this morning and the vehicle was last seen heading east bound on LA 20. Troopers are asking anyone with information regarding this crash please contact Troop C at 985-857-3680. Callers can remain anonymous. Updated information will be released as it becomes available.
