Two Thibodaux Men Sought by State Police as Kidnapping Investigation Continues

Thibodaux, LA – State Police Investigators are asking the public’s assistance in locating two Thibodaux men in reference to an aggravated kidnapping that occurred February 2, 2017. 45 year old Jeffrey Slack Sr. and 20 year old Jeffrey Slack Jr., both of Thibodaux, are wanted by State Police in connection to this kidnapping.

The incident began in Thibodaux when a victim from Lafayette, LA was taken hostage by the Slacks and four other men on February 2nd. The victim was taken to a residence in Thibodaux where he was restrained and beaten overnight. The victim was then brought to St. John the Baptist Parish where deputies of the Sheriff’s Office became aware of the kidnapping. They immediately began an investigation and contacted LSP investigators for assistance.

As a result of the investigation, LSP Investigators placed the four subjects under arrest. They were charged with Aggravated Kidnapping. The following subjects were booked into the St. John the Baptist Parish jail in Laplace:

· Erin D. Carter (B/M, 32 yoa from LaPlace, LA)

· Jordan A. Jackson (B/M, 26 yoa from Schriever, LA)

· Daron D. Nolan (B/M, 21 yoa from Thibodaux, LA)

· Herbert L. Woolens (B/M, 19 yoa from Monroe, LA)

State Police Investigators have issued arrest warrants for Jeffrey Slack Jr. for Aggravated Second Degree Battery and for Jeffrey Slack Sr. for Principal to Aggravated Kidnapping. Both warrants are in Lafourche Parish. Jeffrey Slack Jr. is also wanted in St. John the Baptist Parish for Aggravated Kidnapping. They should be considered dangerous. We are asking the public to notify LSP-Troop C at 985-857-3680 or through the LSP website or local law enforcement if they have any information about their whereabouts. You can remain anonymous. This case remains under investigation.
