The crash took the life of 72 year old Vernon Fletcher from Gray, LA. The preliminary investigation revealed Fletcher was traveling on a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Fletcher entered a right curve in the entrance ramp when for unknown reasons, his motorcycle ran off of the road to the left. Fletcher attempted to re-enter the on-ramp and lost control of the motorcycle. He was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered serious injuries.
