TROOP C - NEWS RELEASE July 26, 2015 Pedestrian Killed in Hit and Run Crash on LA 24 Gray, LA- Shortly after 7 am this morning Louisiana State Police Troop C began investigating a hit and run fatality crash on LA 24 in Terrebonne Parish involving a 29 year old pedestrian. The driver and vehicle involved in the crash are still wanted at this time. The investigation revealed that an unknown vehicle was traveling north on LA 24, just north of US 90 near the Laurel Bridge, when it struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was identified as Treyandis Rogers (age 29) of Thibodaux, LA. The unknown vehicle then left the scene of the crash. It is unclear what time the crash occurred. Rogers was last seen leaving the Houma area around 2 am this morning, and was walking to his home in Thibodaux. This crash remains under investigation. Remember to always be aware of your surroundings. Never get behind the wheel of a vehicle if you have had any alcohol to drink.
