Troop B - NEWS RELEASE Metairie Man Arrested for Sexually Abusing a Dog Yesterday, Louisiana State Police Troopers assigned to the Bureau of Investigations executed a search warrant in Metairie, LA following an investigation into alleged sexual abuse of animals. The investigation began when detectives received information about an individual, later identified at Blake T. Sanderford (W/M, age 21), who was sexually abusing a dog, videotaping the acts and posting them to the internet. During the search warrant, detectives found computer evidence of Sanderford engaged in sexual activity with the dog. The computers were seized and further forensic examination is being conducted. The Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter took custody of the dog. Sanderford was arrested and charged with Crimes Against Nature and Aggravated Cruelty to Animals. He was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center. The investigation is on-going and additional charges may be forthcoming.
