| NEWS RELEASE LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DATE: March 12th, 2008 Money from a Bank Robbery is Found on I-10 On Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 8:00 AM, a trooper from Louisiana State Police, Troop B was dispatched to investigate a traffic crash on I-10 eastbound near Veterans Blvd in Jefferson Parish. Once the trooper arrived on the scene he was approached by one of the drivers, Mr. Jerome William (W/M, 55 yrs), of Kenner, LA. Mr. William then advised the trooper that he observed one strap of U.S. currency on the side of the road. The trooper then walked over and observed one strap of $100.00 bills saturated with red dye on the right shoulder of I-10. The trooper then notified State Police dispatch of his finding. It was later determined that the currency was related to an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 at the Capitol One Bank; 2510 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA. The Kenner Police Department was notified at which time it was confirmed that the currency was related to the bank robbery. The currency was turned over to the Kenner Police Department for further investigation. See the photograph attached to this email.
