Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP B- NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release Date: September 24, 2010 Office of Motor Vehicles Employee Arrested Troop B – On September 23, 2010, Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations arrested Charliette Rousseve (B/F, age 28) of Reserve, LA, after obtaining an arrest warrant in St. John the Baptist Parish for Malfeasance in Office. The investigation began in October 2009, when troopers received anonymous information indicating that an employee of the Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) Reserve, LA branch was accepting monetary bribes in exchange for passing applicants on written driver’s license tests. Troopers later discovered that Rousseve received $100.00 from approximately five applicants over a six month period in exchange for helping them pass their driver’s license examinations. Rousseve was charged and booked into the St. John the Baptist Parish Correctional Center.
