Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP B- NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release Date: December 2, 2009 **Traffic Advisory** Hale Boggs Bridge Closure Saturday, December 5th Troop B- On Saturday, December 5, 2009, beginning at 6:00 AM through 6:00 PM, the Hale Boggs Bridge on I-310 will be closed due to a cable replacement project. The bridge will be closed to all traffic in both directions (north and south). All motorists should be aware of the closure and the possible alternate routes. Some of those routes include US HWY 90 (Huey P. Long Bridge), US HWY 90B (Crescent City Connection Bridge) and LA HWY 3213 (Veterans Memorial Bridge). We are asking all motorists to allow themselves extra time while traveling the alternate routes and to remain patient. Drive Safely and Buckle UP….It’s the LAW!
