Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP B- NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release Date: February 11, 2010 Jefferson Parish Juvenile Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography Troop B – On February 11, 2010, Louisiana State Police Detectives executed a search warrant on a Metairie home for possible possession of child pornography. The warrant stems from an investigation that began in October 2009 when detectives received information about child pornography that was being downloaded on several computers in the home through a file sharing network. Detectives located four computers and found approximately 350 movie files, all containing child pornography. The movie files involved child victims as young as two years old. Detectives interviewed a sixteen year old juvenile, who admitted to downloading the videos and has been doing so since the age of fourteen. The juvenile was booked into the Jefferson Parish Juvenile Facility for Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles.
