Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP B- NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release Date: February 9, 2010 **Traffic Advisory** Alternating Lane Closures on I-10 West (Bonnie Carrie Spillway) Troop B- On Wednesday, February 10, 2010, beginning at 10AM, Louisiana State Troopers will be utilizing the right and left lanes of I-10 west (Bonnie Carrie Spillway Bridge) specifically at mile post 212.4, in order to take required measurements for an investigation. Troopers will be alternating the lane closures in an effort to move traffic smoothly through the area. The temporary closure is expected to last for approximately two hours. We are asking motorists to use caution while traveling through the area and to remain vigilant because Troopers may be standing on the shoulders of the roadway. Also, remain patient and avoid any unnecessary distractions that would direct attention away from the road. Drive Safely and Buckle UP….It’s the LAW!
