| TROOP B NEWS RELEASE March 25, 2020 Motorcyclist Killed in St. Bernard Parish Crash St. Bernard Parish - Shortly after 10:00 a.m. this morning, Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop B investigated a fatal crash on LA 46 east near LA 300 in St. Bernard Parish. The single vehicle crash involved a motorcycle and claimed the life of 52-year-old Ronald Besendorfer of Chalmette, LA. Troopers initial investigation revealed that Besendorfer was operating a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle on LA 46 east near LA 300. For reasons still under investigation, Besendorfer lost control of the motorcycle, ran off the road to the right and was ejected. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
