TROOP B – PUBLIC ADVISORY March 31, 2015 Public Advisory - Authorities Search for Escaped Prisoner Public Assistance Needed Orleans Parish – This morning at approximately 5:00 am, Lorenzo Conner (B/M, age 24) of New Orleans, LA, was being transported to Orleans Parish Prison from East Feliciana Parish. Conner was able to escape from the vehicle he was being transported in and has yet to be located. Conner was, at the time of escape, in the custody of Department of Health and Human Services. He was going to be held at OPP for trial on previous murder charges. At this time, investigators are unclear as to what clothing Conner is wearing. However, he has a short haircut and a full beard. The Louisiana State Police has assumed the lead in the investigation of the escape and the whereabouts of Conner. Currently, LSP is working with the US Marshal’s Service, Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office and our federal, state and local partners on new leads. We are asking the public to report any and all information as to the location of Conner. Citizens can report this information to Louisiana State Police Troop B at 504.471.2775. Conner should be considered armed and dangerous and anyone that harbors this fugitive will face criminal charges.
