TROOP B – PRESS RELEASE April 2, 2015 State Police Arrest Guard at Mental Facility Related to Lorenzo Conner’s Escape East Feliciana Parish - Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations is currently investigating the escape of Lorenzo Conner in Orleans Parish on March 31, 2015. On April 1, 2015, detectives arrested a guard that was employed by the Forensic Division of the Eastern Louisiana State Mental Hospital where Conner was being held. The guard, 37 year old Antonio Webb, was arrested and booked with Malfeasance in Office. LSP Detectives and East Feliciana Sheriff’s Deputies received information through evidence and interviews of employees at the facility that Webb met with Conner on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Detectives learned that Webb had left his post and met with Conner in an area that he was not assigned to be in. Detectives arrested Webb and the investigation is on-going. Additional charges may be forthcoming. Louisiana State Police continue to investigate the escape and whereabouts of Lorenzo Conner. We are asking the public to report any and all information as to the location of Conner. Crimestoppers is offering up to $3500 for information which leads to the arrest of Lorenzo Conner.
