TROOP B - NEWS RELEASE January 8, 2016 New Orleans Man Dies on I-10 St. John the Baptist Parish – This afternoon, shortly after 2:00 pm, Louisiana State Police Troop B investigated a crash on I-10 east at mile post 208.5. The deceased was identified as 58 year old Adrian Baudry III of New Orleans. Preliminary investigation revealed that Baudry was driving a 2008 Volvo tractor/trailer east on I-10 and for unknown reasons, the Volvo ran off the road to the right. It traveled through the grassy area and struck a tree. Baudry was pronounced dead on the scene. Speed nor impairment are suspected factors and the crash remains under investigation. At this time, Troopers believe a medical condition may have been a factor and an autopsy is pending. If you witness a hazardous situation or possible impaired driver, please dial *LSP (*577) and you will be directed to the nearest Troop to report that activity.
