TROOP B – PUBLIC ADVISORY April 2, 2015 Public Advisory – Lorenzo Conner Captured in Jefferson Parish Jefferson Parish – This morning, at approximately 10:20 am, Jefferson Parish Deputies responded to a 911 call relating to the whereabouts of Lorenzo Conner (age 24) who escaped from a Department of Health and Hospitals transport vehicle on March 31, 2015. Deputies quickly arrived at 6225 Westbank Expressway and were able to positively identify Conner and take him to custody without incident. The US Marshal’s Task Force was also in the area at the time of arrest, following up on multiple Crimestopper tips relating to Conner’s location. Conner was transported to the Jefferson Parish Investigations Bureau for questioning and will then be transported to the Orleans Parish Lock-Up. He will be charged as a Fugitive and further criminal charges are pending at this time. Louisiana State Police would like to thank the public for their assistance and all law enforcement agencies that worked together during the search efforts. The US Marshal’s Task Force, New Orleans Police Department, Crimestoppers and many other state and local agencies were integral partners and worked hand in hand with LSP flawlessly. Louisiana State Police Detectives are continuing their investigation into the escape and individuals that are identified as conspirators or who harbored Conner will be arrested and charged accordingly.
