Denham Springs Man Killed in Early Morning Crash

Livingston Parish- This morning, troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop A investigated a single vehicle fatal crash on LA 16 south of LA 1028 which claimed the life of a Denham Springs man.

According to investigating troopers, on March 7, 2012, shortly before 4:00 a.m., a 2004 Toyota Camry driven by 29 year-old Kenneth Beile of Denham Springs, was traveling south on LA 16. For unknown reasons, Beile’s vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and began to overturn. Beile, who was not properly restrained, was partially ejected from the vehicle and died as a result of his injuries. Beile was pronounced dead by the Livingston Parish Coroner.

It is unknown if Beile was impaired at the time of the crash; however, routine toxicology samples were obtained and have been submitted to the Louisiana State police Crime Lab for analysis. This crash remains under investigation.

Troopers remind motorists to buckle up every time they get into a vehicle. Wearing a seat belt gives vehicle occupants the best chance of survival during a violent crash. Seat belts not only prevent ejection, but also protect the neck and spine from serious injuries. State law requires that everyone in the vehicle wear a seat belt, regardless of seating position.
