Additional arrests will follow in the coming weeks. Troopers arrested Anthony Griggs (W/M, age 37) of Baton Rouge Friday after obtaining and executing a search warrant for his residence. During a search of Griggs’ Baton Rouge residence, Troopers found several hard drives containing thousands of images of child pornography downloaded from the internet. Troopers also found eight vials of steroids in Griggs’ residence. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish prison on charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile, pornography involving juveniles, and possession of Schedule III drugs. Agents with the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Justin Dyer (W/M, age 29) on Thursday in Pearl River, LA. The arrest was pursuant to a warrant that was obtained after investigators conducted a search warrant at his Slidell residence based on a complaint made by the German National Police. A forensic examination of a computer hard drive seized during the search revealed 140 files indicative of child pornography. The arrest warrant was issued for Dyer on 140 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles. Dyer was booked without incident into the St. Tammany Parish Jail. Louisiana State Police Detectives from the Houma Field Office obtained an arrest warrant for Brant Simon (W/M age 40) of Ponchatoula for indecent behavior with a juvenile (2 counts), computer-aided solicitation of a minor (2 counts), and attempted production of child pornography. Simon was located at his residence in Ponchatoula, LA and booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail without incident Thursday. The Louisiana State Police remains committed to investigating and arresting those who sexually exploit and victimize our children.
