San Antonio Man Arrested on Drug Smuggling Charges Baton Rouge – Louisiana State Troopers arrested Chadrick D. Grimes (B/M, age 26) of San Antonio today during a traffic stop on Interstate 12 eastbound near Holden. Grimes was driving a 2010 Dodge Charger when Troopers stopped him for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, a Louisiana State Police K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded approximately ten pounds of marijuana. Troopers found the marijuana packaged in four bundles inside a suitcase on the rear seat of the vehicle. Grimes was booked without incident into the Livingston Parish Prison on charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and following too closely. Patrol Troopers in the Troop A area have successfully removed a great deal of dangerous narcotics from the streets this year. This year, Troopers are responsible for the discovery and seizure of the following: Marijuana - over 1,300 pounds Cocaine/Crack - over 5,500 grams Hydrocodone - nearly 1,000 dosage units Contact Information: TFC Russell G.
