626 2026-09-03 Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Office Secures 2 More Child Predator Arrests in Operation Bottom Dweller

Thirty-two-year-old Daquinncy James Stiner, of 18th Streetin Lafayette, and 36-year-old Reginald James Tyler, of Adrienne Street inLafayette, were arrested on charges of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile andComputer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor.

 Between August 26 and August 28, 2026, the Assumption ParishSheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation,conducted a proactive undercover online operation aimed at identifying,investigating, and apprehending individuals who use electronic communicationsor internet-based platforms to solicit, entice, or attempt to exploitindividuals they believe to be juveniles for sexual purposes.

 As a result of the investigation - on September 2, 2026,Stiner and Tyler were taken into custody by Special Agents with the LouisianaBureau of Investigation, along with deputies from the Lafayette ParishSheriff’s Office. The two arrests were not connected to each other.

 Both Stiner and Tyler were charged with the following: 

•            LA R.S 14:81- Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile

•            LA R.S 14:81.3- Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor

Both were booked into the Lafayette Parish CorrectionalCenter as fugitives for the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office. 

 Bond information for both suspects is unknowncurrently.
