Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a medical paraprofessional at a Caddo Parish high school on multiple charges related to the sexual assault and abuse of a student with severe medical disabilities. 30-year-old Maurice Devon Grant, of Haughton, was identified during an investigation that began with a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). The initial report detailed a user sharing a video depicting the sexual abuse of a child. Following the tip, investigators located multiple videos showing Grant sexually assaulting a student victim inside a special needs classroom at the high school. The victim, due to severe medical disabilities, is non-verbal and physically unable to resist the assault. Grant is currently incarcerated at the Bossier Maximum-Security Facility on a charge related to the production of Child Sexual Abuse Material and is awaiting booking at Caddo Correctional Center. Grant was arrested on the following charges:
