Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau ofInvestigation arrested a Metairie man on charges of child sexual abuse materialand indecent behavior with juveniles.

22-year-old Joseph McNeese, of Wilker Neal Avenue in Metairie, wasarrested August 24 in Jefferson Parish and booked as a fugitive into theJefferson Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

• 1 count of LA R.S. 14:81.1 — Child Sexual Abuse Material
• 1 count of LA R.S. 14:81.1 E(5)(a) — Child Sexual Abuse Material Under the Age of 13 Years Old
• 3 counts of LA R.S. 14:81 — Indecent Behavior with Juveniles

Our LBI agents had received CyberTips from the National Center forMissing and Exploited Children in reference to child sexual abuse materialregarding Kik, Instagram, and Discord accounts containing child sexual abusematerial and/or evidence of indecent behavior with juveniles.

Agents identified McNeese as the user of the account, and anarrest warrant was issued for McNeese out of Orleans Parish for violatingcharges of Child Sexual Abuse Material under the age of 13 years old, ChildSexual Abuse Material, and Indecent Behavior with Juveniles.

On August 24, 2026, the arrest warrant for McNeese was executed inJefferson Parish, where he was located and arrested. He was then booked as afugitive into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center and will ultimately bebooked into the Orleans Parish Jail.

This arrest was the result of an investigation by the LouisianaBureau of Investigation, with assistance from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’sOffice, Louisiana State Police, the New Orleans Police Department, the St.Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Kenner Police Department, and HomelandSecurity Investigations.

The investigation remains ongoing.
