Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a man from Thibodaux on October 23, 2025.

79-year-old Roy J. Molaison, of LA 307 in Thibodaux, was arrested for violating:

• 1 Count 14:81.1E(5)(a) Child Sexual Abuse Material (Under the age of 13)

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest resulted from a joint investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Molaison was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex.

His bond has reportedly been set at $25,000.

The investigation continues.
