Agents with Attorney General Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested 60-year-old Jay B. Pierret, of Rue Paon in Youngsville, on July 1, 2025 for violating:

• 2 Counts of LA RS 14:81.1E(5)(a) Pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 (felony)
• 1 Count of LA R.S 14:81.1 Pornography involving juveniles (felony)

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Jay B. Pierret was ultimately booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.

His bond has reportedly been set at $35,000.
