"I fully support President Donald Trump and Border Czar Tom Homan's efforts to remove dangerous illegal aliens out of Louisiana and ultimately out of our country. The Legislature banned parishes and municipalities from adopting ‘sanctuary policies’ last year. I expect all law enforcement and local officials to not obstruct federal authorities from carrying out their duties - which is consistent with State and federal law.
