Baton Rouge, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry today issued the following statement in the aftermath of several tornadoes and large hail damaging homes and property across South Louisiana:

"My thoughts and prayers are with the people of South Louisiana who have been devastated by today's tornadoes. Our office is doing all that we can to ensure public safety and security, including deployment of agents to help with response efforts in the affected areas. We pray that God's comforting hand be with Louisiana during these difficult times. And as the people of our State work to rebuild, we stand ready to assist."
