BATON ROUGE, LA - Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry issued the following statement on the results of the United States Presidential Election:
"Congratulations to President-Elect Donald Trump. The American people have spoken loudly against the insider, establishment machine. I look forward to working with an Executive Branch that actually respects the Constitution and the rule of law. I hope this result is a wake-up call to the mainstream media and other elitists who have worked to suffocate the will of the people. I am also hopeful the leadership in Louisiana will recognize the will of our people through the dramatic results our State saw last night."
