BATON ROUGE, LA - Attorney General Jeff Landry issued the following statement on today’s shooting attack of police officers in Monroe:

“There is a thin blue line between law enforcement and those who intend harm. Today, two brave police officers risking their safety in the service of the public crossed that line and were met with violence. On behalf of the entire Louisiana Department of Justice, I wish both officers a swift recovery and applaud their colleagues who quickly responded and ensured capture of the perpetrator.”
