BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry issued the following statement after the Senate Judiciary C Committee unanimously passed SB 145:

“I thank Chairman Foil and his colleagues on Judiciary C for their unanimous passage of SB 145. I appreciate the bipartisan support these lawmakers have placed in this bill, and I am grateful we are one step closer to getting it to the Governor's desk. When enacted – this bill will reduce crime, reduce drug use, and reduce costs to taxpayers.”
